Peoria, Arizona Ghost Tales

A camp of cow boys have been seen in the skunk creek area when you get to close they fade away. One of my grandfather's fraternity friends was driving from The University of Arizona to his farm in Buckeye. This was in the 1954. So skunk creek was still running naturally and the bridge that spanned the creek was wooden. So he passes over the bridge. He gets to the other side andone of his horses gives out and back then the outskirts of peoria were nothing but deserts so he pulls off to the side of the road. So he steped out of his car and he saw a faint light glowing down in the wash. He stares harder and he made out a couple of men siting around a campfire then as soon as he had seen them they had gone leaving the camp fire.
