Pinetop, Arizona Ghost Tales My fiance woke me up in the middle of the night at motel in Pinetop and told me something sat on the bed. I then rolled over and saw a light floating towards the stairs, then a shadow of a man walking towards us. Many phantom stories have been passed on by the locals. A number of locals say these stories are not true, but bloodcurdling things sure take place here in Pinetop during the night. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A half see-through man outfitted as the skipper of a fishing boat may once in a while be witnessed by a man camping at a campground in close proximity to Pinetop. One of the folks who live here strongly says that this ghost is probably the undead ghost of a local resident who used to dwell here in Pinetop. The ghost of a young guy sporting a confederate uniform has regularly been witnessed       sitting in a beanbag in a residence in Pinetop. The ghost of a hobo is often distinguished smoking a pipe next to a streetlight in Pinetop. In any event, it's a scary phantom that any rational person wouldn't want to bump into. The ghost of an elderly sorceress is known to have been observed on a few instances at Blue Ridge Catchment   Dam at midnight looking at the scenery. No matter what, it sure is a bloodcurdling ghost that should be left alone. A female's body with a pig's head may regularly be observed up on Amos Mountain trying to locate a man. Some folks say this ghost is the undeparted soul of a long dead Pinetop person who lived here. A man having the head of a goblin has every so often been witnessed in a rubber boat on Amos Lake sniveling. According to the locals, this phantom is the phantom of a traveler that was killed while journeying through Pinetop before the present. A woman in flames, clutching a petroleum container is now and then witnessed in the early morning hours fluttering over Blue Grass Cienega. A lot of locals say this ghost is that of a local resident who dwelled here in Pinetop before the present. The ghost of a young air force pilot is known to have been made out on a handful of instances late in the night examining Elk Springs Draw in detail. One thing is for sure, this phantom sure is menacing; one that is rather not messed with. A female with a blue face can sometimes be witnessed browsing through a freezer in the kitchen of a Pinetop mobile home after midnight.
