Yes Superior is haunted!!!!!!! My sister and I lived there for many years on Gray Drive. We to this day are terrified about what happened to us in our home there!!! .

I lived in Superior Arizona when I was a young girl, We built a house on the edge of town on Gray drive. My sister and I were scared out of our minds many times there. Very angry spirits tormented us. My cousin remembers seeing the, ''folgers man'' floating across our yard. Hummmm!! I know superior is haunted, I lived it.

WRONG MZZZZZZZZ Ewing!!!! Superior IS haunted!!! Their are tales of disembodied souls all over the town. The high school is definitely haunted by the ghosts of my wretched grades while I went to school there. Pro's call that ''residual haunting'', but that's a story better told on another occasion. Rory O'Grady, who despite being 6'2 claimed he was a Leprechaun. If you listen closely you can almost hear him asking about his beloved ''lucky charms''. Also there are people that say they can still hear and see the old miners walking down the avenue ready to go home after a long nights work..... creepy!!! There's also a tale about a lost ''Conquistador''

I was a board member of the Superior Unified School District for 26 yrs. I was president of the board for 13 of the 26 years. I was born in Superior and live in the house I was born in. I am 62 yrs. old. I have never seen a ghost in Superior, ever. The old high school was built in 1926 to replace a make shift building in the down town area. I was president of the board when it was closed and sold because it was less expensive to tear down the building than to replace the antiquated plumbing and electrical wiring in order to meet new state standards. It was NEVER an insane asylum and it was NOT sold because of ghostly events!!! .
