Superior, Arizona Ghost Tales I was looking through the fences at the old superior high school and I heard an orchestra or band playing in the building.  This place was completely closed off and their were no cars parked around it and it is very very creepy looking. I heard it was an old insane asylum that turned into a school which then got shut down due to ghostly events. Submitted by Scott The day hours in Superior, Arizona are the same as day hours anywhere else, but this town is governed by undeparted phantoms of days gone by. The undead are all over this town as the local residents will reveal. Several local residents argue these testimonies are not true, but Superior is packed with tormented spirits just waiting to shock you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a young girl is every so often seen up on the top of Bell Butte contemplating. If you listen to the folks who live here, this ghost gets pleasure from scaring foolhardy folks who are bold enough to disrupt the serenity in       Superior. The ghost of a female having half her head lost has allegedly been noticed on a few occasions pushing orbs around in Picketpost Mountain Research Natural Area late in the night. Any which way, this is an unsympathetic spirit that you wouldn't wish to come across at night. A shape with a skeleton face in shady robes can from   time to time be distinguished checking out Alamo Canyon in detail very late at night. In any event, it's a scary ghost that any sound person would not want to meet. A woman having a spear in her head was witnessed at Arnett Creek on a dark night tossing boulders into the flowing water. When the ghost was distinguished it disappeared into the night. The spirit of a young-looking Indian warrior came into view around midnight fluttering over The Rincon. The ghost was consumed by the thin air after being seen. Regardless of what, it without a doubt is a terrifying ghost that you shouldn't go trying to find.
