Comment by Xavier: If you’re talking about Village at Romero, I know that it was built in 1980, so the creepy guy and the little girl probably died relatively recently. .

I want to describe something that happened to me on I-10. I was driving back home to Tucson after spending the day in Phoenix a few years ago. It was early in the evening about 6:30 in the winter time on a rainy night.

I was in the slow Lane behind an 18 wheeler traveling at about 65 mph in no hurry because of the light rain when all of a sudden a large white long-haired dog appeared at the left side of the truck in the fast Lane, then ran right in front of me heading towards the shoulder of the road. This happened right at Picacho peak. I didn't have time to react by hitting the brakes until after the dog had passed me by. I was really close to the bumper of the truck, no more than a few car lengths (at most 3-4) and yet I didn't hit this dog..
Impossible!! There was no way a dog could have run along the side of truck then cross in front of me without being hit. I was in shock. After thinking about what had just happened all the way home I finally I decided the dog must have been a ghost dog??.
