Out in the area east of dome Valley there is a mysterious ghostly mission discovered and re-lost over the years.

About 25 miles or so just east of Yuma right after the mountains we saw a trailer truck following us with only one headlight working. It was about 3 or 3:30 am.... The truck would tailgate us then switch lanes and it would be side by side with us.
As approached a rest area both headlights of the trailer went out and the truck pulled behind us. As we reached the lighted rest area we exited. The trailer never continued on nor did it exit with us.

It just disappeared... My wife and 15yr old nephew couldn't explain where the truck went. Has anyone else seen anything like this while traveling down i-8 heading to Yuma. Please post.

Comment by anonymous: Wow. I and a boy friend stopped at that rest stop to nap. Heard knocking on the window thought it was surely the cops but no one there.

: A couple years back I had experienced somewhat of the same thing, my father and I were traveling back to Yuma and he needed to rest. So I took over the wheel, and as we came up to the rest stop I saw it following and as I stopped and got out while trying to wake him the lights went out. But heard it passing, we looked both ways and saw no cars or trucks in any direction.
