The apparition of a roughly dressed Man (prospector or rancher possibly 1800's attire) suddenly appeared across from me and seemed interested in talking. Although I could not hear a lot of what he seemed to be trying to say I did pick up on ''my River and get a drink. '' when I asked the spirit's name     he said ''ben. '' before I could explore further it faded away. I have been up to Almont several times since and sat outside by a fire but the spirit has not reappeared to me.
