Atwood, Colorado Ghost Tales


You might assume that Atwood, Colorado is exactly like any other settlement in the United States, but tormented ghosts of former times in this settlement don't seem to intend to go away. The living dead are in this settlement as the local residents will tell you. Some local residents assert there are no ghosts, but bloodcurdling things undoubtedly take place here in Atwood in the dark hours.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of a civil war warrior was perceived by Pawnee Creek repositioning orbs about. The ghost didn't seem to be agonized by the witnesses. In any event, this is a bad spirit that you shouldn't go trying to find.

The phantom of a seriously scorched female has repeatedly been noticed looking bloodcurdling on the shore of Schumans Lake. Folks here say that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while driving through Atwood before the present. Regardless of what, it sure is a bloodcurdling phantom that is preferably not messed with.

The
 
    spirit of a man with a cross etched into his cheek is regularly spotted around midnight scrutinizing Pawnee Valley in detail. Whatever folks utter, this is an unfriendly spirit that you wouldn't want to come across very late at night.

The spirit of an awfully mangled hunter hauling a dead deer has supposedly been seen on frequent occasions in
  Cheairs Park in the early morning hours howling at the watcher to beat it. Whichever way, it's a chilling ghost that any sensible person wouldn't wish to run into.

A woman lacking a head may regularly be distinguished in an Atwood trailer. A woman who lives here claims that this ghost is that of a resident who resided here in Atwood some time ago. In any case, it's without a doubt a menacing ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate.
