Aurora, Colorado Ghost Tales | |

When I first came to the Denver area, way back in 1979, I lived in the apartments on Cimarron Circle between Colfax and 6th. The apartments still stand. Several strange events happened there.
One night, a man hummed in my ear. I could feel his breath on hair and neck and saw a faint shadow, but could see no man. My mother also said that she saw a ''ghost,'' though she made a disclaimer that it must have been her imagination because no one who dressed like her apparition had ever lived in the area. She said he had partial armor and a frilly white shirt on--Conquistador, maybe?
The strangest thing that happened, was money that turned up missing for a trip I was going to take. I had no other money, so the trip was off if I didn't find it. I had placed it under a scarf on a table where I always put important papers/money. My mom, my brother and I tore the apartment apart looking for the missing money, but found nothing at all. My mother decided to lend me the money, so I went out with her to the bank. When Mom, my brother and I

came back to the apartment, every dollar of the money was fanned out very visibly on TOP of the scarf!
There were a few other occurences involving cats... I have never heard anyone else who had any similar experiences, though.

We ventured

down to the third bridge the other night expecting to find nothing there but some minor drum beats and that is all. We had gone under the bridge and down towards the house. Out of no where to guys from far off started yelling and running toward us, they had told us that they were sitting on a log and all of a sudden heard a woman or a young child moaning, and something started crawling toward them. Now were first thought that they were messing with us, but on our way back to the bridge we started hearing moaning as well. When we got on the bridge, one of the guys we were with say what he thought was a girl crawling toward him. We ran back, but decided to stay once everyone calmed down. After a little while, nothing was happening, so one of our friends thought it would be funny to pee on the bridge!! DONT DO THIS!! after he did that all hell broke loose. Someone had shined a flash light into the tree off to the right and we all saw a man hanging there smiling at us. Then he turned a shade of grey an vanished. We later saw the same man looking down

at us high in a tree, then dash across the field and just stared at us then was gone. After the man, a flashing light, dogs going crazy, and the trees moving around as if a HUGE gust of wind was blowing through them we all decided to leave. Once we got over the bridge the 2 cars in front of us were pulled off the road. We pulled off too, and the guy that had peed on the bridge was rolling naked in the dirt claiming his body was on fire. We thought what we saw were scratch marks on his face and blood running down his lip. 2 minutes after getting off the bridge he was fine. BE CAUTIOUS WHEN YOU GO TO THE BRIDGE!!!.
