Broomfield, Colorado Ghost Tales The lights in the center of the Old Possum Bookstore often flicker, and the presence of a woman is often felt as though she is standing behind you watching over your shoulder.  She is a kind spirit to people she likes in the store, but has been known to ''drop'' books from various shelves where no one is standing.  Often you will see movement between the main room and the children's area as though a shadow is passing when no one is present.  Many employees feel her and welcome her though at times they will ask her to stop for awhile.  Children have reported seeing her to their parents.
