Castle Rock, Colorado Ghost Tales I used to live in a 100 hundred year old house in castle rock. It's historic, you might have heard of it. Well this house had spirits in it. one night when coming home I looked up at the window and the light was on. I clearly remembered turning it off. then I saw a dark figure's silhouette. when I got into the house I went upstairs and the light was off. Many more ghostly occurrences happened in this house. I lived there for half a year, but the ghosts scared me out. A woman in one of the houses was awoken by her dog on the night of October 18, 2006 around 2:30AM, she let her dog out from the front and stood on her front porch waiting for her dog. She looked down the street and saw a shadowed figure walking her way with child in a stroller under the street light. Her dog started barking in the direction of where she saw the person, She picked       up her dog (the dog being a miniature Rat Terrier) and looked down the street, The person was gone. If the person were to have fled... The woman could clearly see up the winding road, nothing was there. Over the next few nights she would let her dog out around 2, she saw the figure in the same spot walking down the street her way about 2 other times   then she gave up and hasn't seen any unusual figures since... or hasn't wanted to. True story- I was her neighbor, our house was a rental and we lived on the other side of the house that was burnt down by someone in 2005. The stories are connected in a way and the person who burnt down the house is un-solved and whoever did it left little evidence and was after a family... In the old neighborhood's park a body was found with seven stabbings, the person is unknown as of now. freaky!.
