Central City, Colorado Ghost Tales The ghost of a young man has been seen walking around in a bedroom. When the witness saw it, it vanished. Submitted by Susie Daytime in Central City, Colorado is precisely equal to daylight anywhere else in the US of A, but undeparted spirits of the past in this town don't appear to be going to die. Many phantom sightings have been disclosed by the folks who live here. Some folks who live here argue there are no phantoms, but there really are scary things going on here in Central City during the dark hours. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A fairly translucent man dressed as the skipper of a liner is known to have been noticed on several instances very late at night visiting Castle Rock. A sizeable frightening ghost may often be seen traveling on a camel in the middle of a highway near Central City. The ghost of a youthful gentleman having on a confederate uniform may be noticed very frequently staggering through a home next to Central City. The       spirit of a chained up gentleman has from time to time been witnessed up on Alps Hill struggling to touch something. The ghost of a bum is sometimes seen in Boomerang Gulch on a dark night shining a flash light.
