There is an office building on Garden of the Gods Rd which used to be occupied by Opus Wave. The company went out of business and while they were vacating the building I got to pull a guard shift from 6 pm to 6 am.

All the doors were chained shut except the front entrance which was constantly under my surveillance. When I went on rounds I placed a chain with a lock at the front door. There were no windows to open in the entire building.

After midnight I could hear people walking and faint voices. I searched the building over and over and did not see any anyone. There was also a boiler room which was usually very hot inside but there were a couple of times when I went through when I hit a cold spot.
