Crawford, Colorado Ghost Tales I have often seen a woman hitch hiking alongside the road outside Crawford. I have also seen a stage coach attempting to race me on the highway, pulled by black horses. As well, a woman enjoys wandering around my property, peeking in windows, and playing with the cats. And on top of that, a young girl has been leaving hand prints all over the ceiling of my home, giggling, and touching our faces. The handprints have since been painted over. The undeparted are here in this city as the residents will tell you. People who have never stayed for a few days in this city will laugh and say it's untrue, but the ghosts of Crawford are out tonight searching for a person to frighten. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of an elderly cleaning lady may regularly be noticed at the       stroke of midnight examining Buck Canyon in detail. One thing is for guaranteed, this is a hostile ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.
