Crook, Colorado Ghost Tales


Daylight in Crook, Colorado is exactly the same as day anywhere else in the United States of America, but this place has a quite good percentage of ghosts. People who have never spent a night in this municipality will inform you it's superstition, but there truly are menacing things taking place here in Crook at night.

The ghost of an elderly woman grasping a rifle was witnessed heaving pieces of wood into the flowing water at Duck Creek in the early morning hours before sunrise. This spirit is enormously active in this vicinity; there have been a small number of additional stories of this exact spirit.

The ghost of an elderly Indian chief was witnessed pulling a cadaver through some bushes in Colorado Game and Fish Reserve before
dawn. The onlooker ran away when he made out the ghost.

The ghost of an old cleaning lady has often been noticed looking at the view at Dickinson Irrigation Dam in the early morning hours before sunrise.

The ghost of a young-looking woman outfitted as a maid is known to have been distinguished on numerous occasions examining the panorama from the peak of Haystack Butte around midnight. It has been claimed that this exact ghost could be a well-known yesteryear dweller of Crook.
