We moved into a house on the outskirts of Delta in the early 70s. Needless to say the house was haunted apparently by an apparition that took the form of a gunslinger dressed in black who would step out of the shadows grin at you then disappear.
There were plenty of times my sister and I woke up to find ourselves being moved or flung around and many many times we would see something or someone out of the corner of our eye only to turn and find nothing and no one there.

It got so bad that eventually our family fled the house and it followed us for a brief time. We later were told the house had once been the sight of an old western saloon that burned to the ground and then the house was built on top of the site.

There were a lot of other experiences too but the haunted house that we lived in was the worst since the spirit there was not friendly and enjoyed scaring us all. Delta is a very haunted place in terms of it's ghosts and it's the reason I am fascinated with the supernatural.
