Evans, Colorado Ghost Tales I was driving home from my in laws house coming around the curve on a back road going to highway 85. I looked behind me and I saw a light. Then I saw a little girl with blonde hair and a white dress floating over the trunk of my car. There have been a lot of happenings with things from a parallel world. Several folks who live here claim there are no ghosts, but everyone who has settled in Evans is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a young-looking cowboy may every now and then be perceived in a convenience store in the Evans neighborhood. No matter what people utter, this is an unsympathetic ghost that you do not want to come across around midnight. A terrifying creature was noticed examining Ashcroft Draw in       detail on a dark night. The spirit did not appear to be troubled by the observers. The ghost of a gentleman outfitted as a janitor appeared hauling a corpse through some bushes in Broadview Park on a dark night. The ghost waved to the bystander. The ghost of a gentleman sporting a sheriff outfit was distinguished ascending up from a drain   hole on an Evans residential street at midnight. The phantom was consumed by the night after being made out. One thing's for sure, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate. The phantom of an aged gentleman with a large white mustache came into sight at Arrowhead Dam before dawn taking in the panorama. When made out the phantom came near the bystander who then fled. The spirit of a gentleman having on a military outfit was spotted trying to find a glove down near the shore at Arrowhead Reservoir. There have been other stories involving this ghost in the vicinity. The armor of a medieval knight lacking a human inside was seen throwing stones into the flowing water at Big Thompson River late in the night. Further people in the neighborhood have had identical occurrences with the same spirit. Several of those who live here assert this ghost likes frightening foolish people who come trying to locate ghosts in Evans. The ghost of a woman with a bag fastened around her head has often been distinguished poking around in mailboxes late at night in Evans.
