Fairplay, Colorado Ghost Tales A bloody spot in a green, gothic styled house has been seen in a house outside of Fairplay. Every time someone tries to clean it, it will return almost instantly. Submitted by Frank There's not a single thing odd regarding Fairplay, Colorado in the daytime, but if you are easily terrified, you'd best not come here during the night. Lots of ghost sightings have been conveyed by the local residents. A number of local residents allege there are no ghosts, but the struggling souls of Fairplay are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The       spirit of a guy with demonic signs etched into his cheek has been said to have been perceived on one or two instances at Beaver Creek in the early morning hours throwing pebbles into the flow. Either   way, this is an unsympathetic ghost that any normal person would not want to encounter. The phantom of a train driver can every now and then be perceived at a public phone in Fairplay using the phone. In any event, it's without a doubt a frightening ghost that you shouldn't go seeking. A woman lacking a head has frequently been spotted beside Rhodes Warm Spring at the stroke of midnight smoking a cigar. Whatever folks state, this is a nasty spirit that is preferably not interrupted. The ghost of a young-looking woman with a line around her neck is frequently spotted very late at night fluttering over High Park. Scores of local residents assert this ghost is the stressed spirit of a former Fairplay local.
