There was another elementary school called mccandless or something like but it got torn down. They were running till the elementary school that is there now. On that Street there was an old school building called Emerson middle school. As a kid the school was abandon and I was convinced it was haunted. One Day back in 1999 my brother and next door neighbor had the courage to go in there. I was curious as to what happen to the school and the stories behind it. We sneak in through an old window that had been broken out. There was a stair case that led upstairs and a cold draft that seem to fill the air inside even in the middle of july.
