Hugo, Colorado Ghost Tales After living in a Hugo trailer for years we have had many ghostly encounters.  We have had things fall off shelves, sounds of things falling and nothing wrong, apparitions and a light that will come on and off at will. After the birth of my son we have had him telling us about ghosts he sees....the most recent was someone named Amy.  I dont know who this is, we dont talk about anyone named Amy. Submitted by Anonymous In the daytime Hugo, Colorado is like any other United States city, but there are peculiar things occurring in this city in the night time. Things dance about, sounds coming from       nowhere. Disbelievers don't have faith in the local ghost reports, but if you have the guts to stay for the night in Hugo, you may perhaps see a ghost for yourself. These are some of the   spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a lady with half her head missing has allegedly been spotted on one or two instances staying in a deserted home in Hugo. One of the folks who live here definitely declares that this phantom may be the spirit of a person who lived here who passed away here in Hugo many years ago. A woman with a machete in her head was distinguished at night studying Folger Gulch in detail. Frightened by the witnesses the ghost receded into the darkness.
