A somewhat translucent gentleman dressed as the captain of a vessel has allegedly been witnessed on a small number of occasions burrowing a crack down by the water's edge at Briscoe Lake. If you listen to the people who live here, this spirit likes scaring people who are courageous enough to interrupt the serenity in Kersey. The ghost of a young gentleman having on a confederate uniform can often be noticed gazing across The Delta at night.
