I have seen some crazy stuff heard Indian drums and heard children playing while fishing the Arkansas River at night between Rocky Ford to Las Animals. Has anyone one else had anything like that happen, is there any explanation for any of this.

There was an old rumor floating around La Junta Jr/Sr High School about a ghost in the basement. Being a former student of the school, I was often downstairs late at night helping the theater teacher lift heavy objects. I have taken notice that there would often be sounds coming from the basement itself. In the day, people would often feel nauseated going down there alone. I sense energy coming from the basement the many times I went down there.
During choir, I would walk pass the windowed doors of the basement and would see reflections that weren't just my own. I was usually the last to leave and noticing reflections of what looked like a teacher. I had heard horrible things about that basement, but I had never believed much about it until now. One night during theater practice I had heard mumbling that sounded like a man saying ''Who are you?'' However, from stories I also heard variants of it being a student who committed suicide or a lady who collapsed on the stair case.
I don't think the high school knows what goes on in the basement. I think there is something more being hidden from us. From the feeling of dread and the cold shoulder I can tell you that there is something paranormal in the basement. I have a feeling that there is more to the rumors that I hear. That's as much as I know from experience and the stories.
