Longmont, Colorado Ghost Tales | |

We live in Longmont and we have had encounters in our apartment. We also happen to live across the street from an old farm house, which may have no connection. I heard footsteps coming down the hall when I was sleeping on the couch and my boyfriend was in the bedroom. It sounded like he kept going up and down the hall, so I finally got up to find him in the bedroom asleep. I layed back down on the couch and felt the cushion (and my feet) rise up. It scared me! My boyfriend, who is not afraid, has had several encounters. Just today he said he SAW a girl in the hallway. Small stature with black hair down her back. He says she looked like she was around 20 years. We would like to discover the history of the area we live in...

name is unknown used to own the building and still is seen there today, centuries after his death. I was very enlighted to hear this because I pass the barber shop often and like peering in to the windows to see whats going on. Thank and happy ghost hunting:).

this wasn't in Longmont it was really close too a Denver park and there was this shed, I walked up too it and it had little glow coming from under the door so I opened the door and saw 2 orbs... they came at me and I slammed the door shut before they touched me... then the door had a big bang and the door knob fell off... I decided to tell my friend and he came over and we opened the door and nothing was their... He called me crazy but I know what I saw.

I HAVE 3 TALES TO TELL.FIRST OF ALL I HAD A NEWSPAPER ROUTE WHICH TOOK ME AT TO THE WEST SIDE OF TOWN ON NELSON ROAD.IT WAS ABOUT 400 AM ONE MORNING WHEN TURNING OFF OF 61ST ST ONTO NELSON I SAW 2 FARMERS DRESSED IN OVERALLS .PLAID SHIRTS STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.THIS IS ALMOST DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE COMMERCE DEPTS.ENTRANCE WHERE THE 2 BIG SATTELITE DISHES ARE,ANOTHER NIGHT DELIVERING PAPERS ON 61ST,ALMOST THE SAME LOCATION,I SAW A LADY DRESSED IN A WHITE HOOP SKIRT AND A MAN IN DENIM PANTS AND DENMIN SHIRT WALKING DOWN THE ROAD.I

SLOWED,LOOKED AT THEM BOTH,HE LOOKED AT ME,DELIVERED TO 2 HOUSES, NOT MORE THAN A MINUTE TURNED AROUND HEADED BACK DOWN THE ROAD AND THEY WERE BOTH GONE.BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD HAVE BERBED WIRE FENCING.IT LOOKED AS IF THE HAD BEEN OUT DANCING.HIS SHIRT HAD A SQUARED COLLAR AS IF FROM THE 1800S.ANOTHER TALE IS FROM MY WIFE WHO WENT TO CLEAN A HOUSE ON BROSS ST, OFF OF 3RD ST.I BELEVE IT WAS AN OLD SANITARIUM.MY WIFE SAID IT WAS DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE OLD ORIGINAL LONGMONT HOSPITAL.THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE SAID THERE HAD NUMEROUS SIGHTINGS AND WHILE MY WIFE WAS WORKING THERE SHE HAD ABOUT 6 INSTANCES OF DIFFERENT EVENTS.SHE SMELLED MUSTY PERFUME,HAD DOORS CLOSE ON HER.AND EVEN HAD 2 INSTANCES OF SOMEONE GRABBING HER LEG.
