Longmont Index - Longmont PAGE 1   2   3   4   5   6   7   8   9   10   11   12   13   14   15   16   17   18        I was on a bike ride on the Greenway (north east of the Longmont Rec. Center). My son was along with me when we decided to stop for a quick breather. As we faced our bikes towards the greenway, there was a woman who looked to be in either her late 20s or early 30s. She was riding a mountain bike with a white helmet. She was fairly pale skinned and had very dark hair. Within a fraction of a second she passed us (nothing unusual). However, what was unusual     was the fact when we turned to proceed on the greenway, she was gone. The eerie part about it was the fact that my son said when he looked at her her eyes were completely black. She was nowhere to be seen in either direction of the trail. It was physically impossible to vanish within seconds. Submitted by Kelly        Categories: eyes, mountain, trail, man I have probably seen about 30 ghosts in my life. I'm in my fifties. The very first one I saw was in Longmont as soon as I turned 18 years old. On Coffman Street on the second floor as walking up to the house a girl stood in the upper window. She was wearing an old fashioned nightshirt looking at me dead in the eye! No pun intended. The people living there did not have a daughter. They were young couple with an infant. I went back, and many many years later I did not see anything. I'm sure she's in there somewhere.   (continued on the next page...)
