Manassa, Colorado Ghost Tales A ghost of a man dressed in a civil war uniform haunted our house in Manassa.  He was also seen by people who had rented our home after we moved out. Submitted by Sandy Manassa, Colorado is just an average town while the sun is up, but this town is visited by the living dead once the sun is down. Some of the deceased refuse to rest in this city. Several people who live here allege these reports are untrue, but the tormented spirits of Manassa are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A guy devoid of a head appeared       in Jack Dempsey Park late at night twinkling a lamp. This phantom is enormously active in this vicinity; there have been a handful of additional reports of this specific phantom. The ghost of an   aged gold digger with a sizeable mustache and a hook instead of his left hand was witnessed drifting by on North Branch Conejos River after midnight. This is one of those ghosts that is distinguished very often in the neighborhood. Whatever people say, it's a terrifying ghost that should be left alone. The ghost of an elderly lady carrying a pistol has often been noticed heading a directed tour of Dripping Rock to a crowd of ghosts very late at night. One of the residents confidently asserts that this ghost could be the soul of a local who died here in Manassa many years ago. The spirit of a waitress is regularly observed in a house close to Manassa. Several of the folks here argue this ghost is most likely the undeparted ghost of a resident who used to dwell here in Manassa. One thing is for guaranteed, it is certainly a bloodcurdling phantom that you do not want to run into in the early morning hours.
