Custom Search Manitou Springs, Colorado Ghost Sightings Manitou Springs PAGE 1   2   3   4     Three times now I have seen a low flying old WWII b52 bomber flying at extremely low altitude over the Manitou and surrounding mountains. I live in Woodland Park and I drive almost daily to the springs. The first time I saw this plane was in Early Spring and as I was approaching town from the pass I looked to my right and saw this huge plane slowly flying at about 100 feet above deck. I didn't hear any motors and I looked     around to see if any of the other drivers noticed it and as far as I could Tell they didn't. I quickly passed it and as I tried to spot in my rearview mirror the Hill dropped down and I lost sight of it. When I got Home that afternoon I tried to find any reference to someone flying a b52 over Manitou on the news or something. I came up completely empty handed. The second time I spotted it I was returning from school Early afternoon around the 1st of July and again I spotted it to my right Only flying at extremely low altitude mabye 40-50ft from deck.
