Montrose, Colorado Ghost Tales | |
|
|
In Montrose, Co. is where an old house sits on the corner of 5th and Selig. Having first hand accounts of some of the most terrifying experiences of my life, I can honestly tell you that this house is most definitely HAUNTED !!! This place is pretty much where I grew up and have some of the best and worst memories of my life. Upon moving in, there was not even a hint that this place was haunted..not right away anyway. Soon it began very suddenly, but over the years of growing up there the haunting escalated into a full blown frenzy of dark and sometimes violent outbursts that would litterally shake

the house to rid it of ANY spirits that were festering there. And so the house grew more quiet and peacefull than we had known in years and it stayed that way for only about a week...and then an explosion of paranormal events began spilling out of a very dark portal in the basement located under a trap door inside the back porch. I won't go into explicit details, but this event was our reason to get the heck out of that house. The house is now an antique shop. I spoke with a lady that works there about my experience there from inside the house. As I gave her the tour, she had told me that she had a few

experiences of her own to talk about. Without going into detail, she told me that she had never been down into the basement but could sense something ''dark'' lurking beneathe the trap door that leads
down into basement. I DARE YOU TO CHECK IT OUT!!!. Submitted by Cody Springer
