It is said that Silver Plume is the biggest ghost town in Clear Creek County. The most common story upon locals is about the little girl who haunts the gazebo in next to the small town hall. Most say they have heard things being thrown or a little girl in blue playing with dolls at the top of the two story gazebo. the town recently helped re build the gazebo because it is falling apart. I was sent over to the Gazeebo around

7 at night to get some tools that had accidentally been left in it. as i entered the door, i could hear footsteps coming from above and things
|
sounding like they were getting thrown with anger. Terrified i fled the building and the door slamed behind me and a blood curdaling scream came from the top.
