The light would be so bright you could see the rafters. It would stay bright for quite a while then it would get dimmer and dimmer until it went out. And I remember standing on the back porch looking at the breaker box being off and still that blue light was glowing.
I did find out that a man hanged himself in one of the apartments. But I would be willing it was the one to the left! About 5 years ago I called the woman that bought the house.

She did confirm that the house is indeed haunted. But she did not seem to have as much activity as my family experienced. I am going to go back and visit

My parents used to live in Sterling and they remember staying in a house on 3rd Avenue. There was a man who lived there and was renovating the basement of the house he was mid fifties and were not sure how but he died in the house.
My dad was an amateur renovater so they worked out a deal with the realator that they would live in the house and he would finish renovating the basement. Anyways he wasn't mean and my parents can remember hearing laughter and just always feeling a presence.
