Dark hour is undeceased time in this place. A number of local residents argue there are no spirits, but the stressed souls of Westcliffe are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A female person was spotted in a hardware store in the Westcliffe vicinity. This is one of those ghosts that is noticed very often nearby. The       ghost of a lady with words etched into her arm was witnessed trying on clothes in a Westcliffe building. The eye witness ran off when he noticed the ghost. The spirit of a female with a dagger   in her chest has often been seen in Aldrich Gulch at the stroke of midnight scraping out a hole. A female with the head of a devil has purportedly been seen on frequent instances in the early morning hours looking over Wet Mountain Valley. It's been asserted that this precise spirit is the stressed spirit of a long dead Westcliffe resident. No matter what, it certainly is a scary ghost that you shouldn't go searching for. A female gripping her head by her arm may frequently be noticed trying to find a map by Alvarado Creek. One thing's for guaranteed, this is an unsympathetic ghost that should be stayed away from. The ghost of a gentleman with half his head missing has occasionally been spotted fluttering across the Rosita Hills after midnight. The ghost of a young-looking female having on a bloody prom dress is from time to time seen in a boat on DeWeese Reservoir smoking a pipe. According to the local residents, this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while passing through Westcliffe some decades ago. Well, it sure is a chilling phantom that is better not messed with.
