Yuma, Colorado Ghost Tales In the winter of 1980 a friend and I witnessed what we think was a elemental. the upper part seemed to be inflames or surrounded in flames and was clearly male, the legs were normal but the feet were hooved, like a deer hoof. It crossed a field near my friends farmhouse and then lept over a wide ditch, crossed the highway and as it lept the opposite side ditch dissapeared in mid air. There was snow on the ground at the time and we went out in the early morning to look around and clearly saw melted areas and hoof prints in the areas where we saw this being. The living dead are in this town as the residents will enlighten you about. A number of residents allege these stories are lies, but seeing is believing and if you stay for a few days here in Yuma, you could perceive a ghost. These are some of the spooky things that have happened       here recently. The ghost of a waitress is regularly made out sending an envelope at a Yuma post office. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief is known to have been seen on many instances drinking unleaded from a gas pump at a fuel station in Yuma. A black as coal snake that transformed into a woman can regularly be seen   chatting into the air as if somebody in addition was in attendance. Locals here claim that this phantom is that of a local who had a home here in Yuma many years ago.
