Ahsahka, Idaho Ghost Tales On the surface Ahsahka, Idaho appears like a standard settlement, but if you are easily startled, you'd better stay at a safe distance from this place in the dark hours. Lots of ghost stories have been passed on by the locals. Some locals claim these tales are untrue, but if you are brave enough to stay an extra day in Ahsahka, you may well notice a ghost for yourself. A decapitated woman is known to have been observed on one or two occasions in Dworshak State Park right by the park headquarters gulping orange juice. The ghost of a 9 foot high colossal man can repeatedly be witnessed in Beaver Dam Recreation Area on a dark night smoking a cigar. The spirit of a lady having half her head lost may be seen very often taking pleasure in the scenery at Dworshak Dam late in the night. Folks here assert that this ghost is in all probability the undead ghost of a person who used to have a house here in Ahsahka. Either way, this is       a hostile phantom that any normal person would not want to run into. A female with a machete in her head has now and then been noticed looking down into the water at Bruces Eddy at midnight. A drifting ghost is every so often observed in a home in close proximity to Ahsahka.
