A military outfit marching about without a body in it was distinguished drifting down Bird Creek before sunrise. When the ghost was witnessed it faded away into the night. Locals declare that this ghost may well be a recognized past resident of Carmen. One thing's for certain,       it without a doubt is a frightening ghost that any sane person wouldn't want to encounter. The phantom of a civil war soldier was spotted standing by the side of a shady highway in the neighborhood of Carmen. The phantom was ingested by the thin air after being spotted.
