There is a house outside of town on the river haunted by the spirit of a young man who was killed in a logging accident soon after he graduated high school in the 1990s. We lived there for a few months and experienced the sound of someone walking up and down the hallways when no one was there, a sort of luminous mist swirling around near the ceiling in the front bedroom and then shooting up through the ceiling. Also what appeared to be a white cat sitting on the kitchen counter one morning jumped off and turned into smoke at floor level and disappeared. There sometimes seemed to be a 'cold spot' in the kitchen/dining area too.
