Clifton, Idaho Ghost Tales I was riding my horse up around Twin Lakes when I looked over my right shoulder and saw a man and a small male child on the ridge above me. I looked at them and I could see through them. thats when I realized they were not human. They looked at me and started walking down toward me then they were gone. Submitted by John Day in Clifton, Idaho is just like daylight anywhere else in the United States of America, but after the sun has called it a day you may well perceive some scary things. Phantoms are so usual around here; scores of local residents don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. Several local residents argue there are no ghosts, but with so many ghosts in Clifton you have a reasonably magnificent chance of catching a glimpse of one if you stay an extra day around here. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a gold-miner has been distinguished on frequent instances trying to deposit a body in Oxford Slough at night. The ghost of a man outfitted       as a gas station attendant can every so often be distinguished in a boat on Twin Lakes Reservoir trying to find a person. A female with a partially see-through body has frequently been noticed gazing at the water by Oxford Dam around midnight.
