Custom Search Howe, Idaho Ghost Sightings Howe PAGE 1   2     In 1973 my mother Bought a mobile home and had it moved into town in Howe. By in town I mean on the one street that was town. At that time the population of the town proper was 26 people, 7 dogs and 2 cats. My mother, myself(14), my neice(7) and my nephew(5) moved in from the old farm we had lived on. My older brothers tore out the folding walls that made 2 very tiny bedrooms and made one long narrow bedroom for my neice and     I. Every night we would hear a woman's footsteps walk down the hall as if trying to find the door to the room. One night I heard the footsteps come into the room and my neice on the bottom bunkbed screamed. She said she had seen a girl looking in her face. She would never come into the room again, and took to sleeping on the couch. I took out the bunkbeds and made a bed for myself out of both box springs and matresses and moved the bed to the other end of the room. Everynight I would still hear the footsteps and she the edge of the bed go down where she sat.   (continued on the next page...)
