Dispatchers have had their computers do strange things, like turn on and make noises. Phones have rang, and when answered no one is there. The number is an extension from inside the courthouse, when no one is there. There has also been smells, doors slamming and lights turning off by themselves. A number of people who live here declare these testimonies are untrue, but frightening things sure go on here in New Plymouth at night. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A       lady with her head chopped off may repeatedly be observed concealing a cadaver by a sizeable boulder in Payette River Wildlife Management Area at the stroke of midnight. The ghost of a guy grasping a bloody machete may be seen often thinking by The Bluffs. A soldier's uniform walking around without a body in it is now and then witnessed   rearranging orbs around in Big Willow Creek. According to what the local residents claim, this spirit is perhaps the tormented spirit of a person who used to live here in New Plymouth.
