Residents here who have witnessed this ghost argue this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was killed while driving through Roberts many years ago. A lady with a blue-green face was noticed by Market Lake Slough looking furiously   at the bystander. The bystander escaped right after he spotted the spirit. The phantom of a mail carrier has often been noticed hauling a corpse from the chilly water of Dry Bed before sunrise. Residents here argue that this ghost likes startling foolhardy folks who have the nerve to upset the serenity in Roberts. A gentleman's body with the head of a sheep has been said to have been distinguished on many occasions on the peak of Lewisville Knolls in the early morning hours looking at the vista.
