Eureka, Nevada Ghost Tales


In the daylight hours Eureka, Nevada is equal to any other American city, but this is a city where the undead wander the avenues at night. Tables jump around, noises coming out of the darkness. Some people who live here say there are no ghosts, but anyone who has spent a night in Eureka, Nevada knows better.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of an elderly gentleman with a large white beard became visible gripping a skull beside a streetlight in Eureka. The ghost waved to the observer.

A woman with an axe sticking out of her head was spotted weeping in Austin Canyon in the early morning hours before sunrise. When the spirit was perceived it disappeared into the air. A local resident alleges that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while passing through Eureka a long time ago. Nonetheless, it's a menacing ghost that you do not want to come across in the early morning hours before sunrise.

A half transparent gentleman dressed as the captain of a vessel has regularly been seen down beside Black Pitch Spring very late at night attempting to grasp something.

A big bloodcurdling ghost is frequently made out fluttering over the Mountain Boy Range very late at night.
