Incline Village, Nevada Ghost Tales | |
|
One night a few high school kids decided to go camping up in the? mountains of incline village.? They were just about to go to bed when they were looking at the stars when they heard people singing and playing music really close to there camp sight.? They were very startled by this incident so they turned off all there lights and tried to figure out what it was.? They had seen flash lights about 50 yards away from there location and they could not point out what was holding the lights.? As the lights grew larger and much closer the 5 teenagers were terrified.? The flash lights passed within 5 feet of the 5 teenagers and they could not see any figure behind the flashlights. No noise.? No bushes rustling and no twigs snapping.? The kids were so scared they left all of there stuff at the top of the mountains and ran down the steep slope of the mountain. shifts when all was quiet I was sitting behind the counter flipping through a magazine when I heard foot steps clicking on the wood floor in front of the store. I jumped up to greet the customer - and no one was there. This turned out to be an almost daily occurrence and soon became routine and I became accustomed to hearing footsteps when nobody was there. However, soon after that there was an afternoon in the summer when the store was super busy and I was ringing up customer after customer when out of the corner of my eye I saw a very tall man in a cowboy hat walk towards the back of the store (where there's nothing but the dressing room). As soon as I was finished taking care of everybody else I turned to greet him - and no one was there. There were no exits at that end of the store and I did not see him go out the front door (I mean, a tall guy in a cowboy hat kind of stands out).
After working there for about six months I happened to chat with one of the security guards who had worked there since the Hyatt had been the King's Castle in
