Jackpot, Nevada Ghost Tales My whole family have seen 'dead lights' or orbs out in the desert of Jackpot, Nevada. Seems second nature now. We know there are several ghosts in this town since Contact, Nevada, an old mining town, is not far away. It is quite haunted, as well. Jackpot used to be part of Contact. That is why there are so many sightings. I very much expect to see a ghost every time I look out my window at night. Most nights I am not disappointed!!.
