We visited there & found that this surrounding area was underwater a long prehistoric time ago. If you try really hard or are just plain lucky, you might pick up a fossil out there. The one I came into possession of resembled a ''sow bug'' that little kids find & roll up into a ball. Just a simple fossil but a million years old.
