North Las Vegas, Nevada Ghost Tales We used to live in a house near Arbor View High School. One day we were leaving for a game and we had to back the car out of the garage. When I checked the rear view mirror I saw this little boy. I quickly blinked and then looked again and he was gone. I didn't mention it to my family. About a month later we were all upstairs watching a movie and we heard a high pitched yell coming from downstairs. We went to investigate but we could find nothing. The final activity was when we had all gotten out of the pool late at night. we were all sitting at the patio table talking and we heard the biggest splash ever. We turned our heads and saw a big splash of water. We ran to the pool but nothing was in it. We asked the owner of the house and he said that the neighbor boy ''Pablo'' was killed when he hopped our fence and drowned in our pool. Submitted by Jack       Categories: home, drowning, boys My home has had objects move, a dark shadow walking down the hall, and smell of tobacco smoke (we don't smoke).       About four years ago my son would wake me up in the middle of the night....he would be giggling and running around playing with a little boy. My neigbor had seen a man wearing black pants and a white dress shirt run through her bedroom out the window. Also, a friend who lives 2 blocks away had the same dark ''shadow man'' visit his home and has been   seen in the nursery and by the ashes of the baby they lost. Many strange things have happen at this home. And on 2 7-04-08, I was cleaning my boys room, middle of the day, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder....twice. I was the only person in the room. I have no idea why or what is going on but I'm not alone. My neighborhood is haunted. Submitted by Lori Several times footsteps heard on the stairs in my home, smells of food cooking early in the am, cigar/tobacco smoke in the downstairs stairwell, my doll collection has been placed on the floor in a semi-circle, at numerous times the CO2 & smoke detectors would go off, nothing could be found by Gas Co., or Fire Dept., tapping sounds in the ceiling above my kitchen, nothing above except a crawl space only accessible through a door in the hall closet above. Dryer timer turned all the way off when set before placing clothes in the dryer. There have been scores of encounters with ghosts from another zone. People who have never stayed overnight in this city will let you know it's all myths, but anybody who has stayed overnight in North Las Vegas, Nevada knows better.
