North Las Vegas, Nevada Ghost Tales My home has had objects move, a dark shadow walking down the hall, and smell of tobacco smoke (we don't smoke). About four years ago my son would wake me up in the middle of the night....he would be giggling and running around playing with a little boy. My neigbor had seen a man wearing black pants and a white dress shirt run through her bedroom out the window. Also, a friend who lives 2 blocks away had the same dark ''shadow man'' visit his home and has been seen in the nursery and by the ashes of the baby they lost. Many strange things have happen at this home. And on 2 7-04-08,  I was cleaning my boys room, middle of the day, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder....twice. I was the only person in the room.  I have no idea why or what is going on but I'm not alone. My neighborhood is haunted. Submitted by Lori Several times footsteps heard on the stairs in my home, smells of food cooking early in the am, cigar/tobacco smoke in the downstairs stairwell, my doll collection has been placed on the floor in a semi-circle, at numerous       times the CO2 & smoke detectors would go off, nothing could be found by Gas Co., or Fire Dept., tapping sounds in the ceiling above my kitchen, nothing above except a crawl space only accessible through a door in the hall closet above. Dryer timer turned all the way off when set before placing clothes in the dryer. Submitted by Sam During   the day the locals in North Las Vegas, Nevada perform their tasks exactly like anywhere else, but this is a town where the undead stroll the residential streets during the dark hours. The undead are in this municipality as the local residents will enlighten you about. People who have never stayed overnight in this municipality will laugh and say it's superstition, but the ghosts of North Las Vegas are out tonight seeking a person to scare. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a strapped up woman is every now and then seen in City View Park around midnight crying out names of people. Local people say that this spirit takes pleasure in startling foolish people who dare to disturb the tranquility in North Las Vegas. A female hauling her head by her arm is known to have been distinguished on several occasions staring over Cashman Field on a dark night. A resident alleges that this phantom could be the spirit of a local resident who passed on here in North Las Vegas some decades ago.
