There's not a thing strange about Pioche, Nevada while the sun shines, but under the surface there are strange things going down. Things go on here that can't be rationally explained. Disbelievers don't believe in the local spirit tales, but with so many spirits in Pioche you have a pretty great chance of witnessing one if you stay overnight here.

The ghost of a guy with a name etched into his foot is every now and then spotted scaring people up on the peak of Squaw Knoll.

engine driver is known to have been witnessed on one or two instances at Bob Hamilton Wash before sunrise throwing bricks into the flowing water.

a dead cougar has regularly been distinguished in the early morning hours before sunrise flying over Cedar Flat.
The phantom of a youthful lady with a cord around her neck is frequently seen down by Brown Springs before dawn looking angrily at the watcher. One of the local residents confidently says that this ghost is the struggling soul of a long dead Pioche person who lived here.
A very creepy ghost can repeatedly be spotted in Water Canyon before dawn going wild.
