Virginia City, Nevada Ghost Tales    Silver Queen Hotel, Virginia City When my wife my self and my brother stayed over night at the Silver Queen Hotel about 11.43 pm I kept hearing a scratching noise then I would here a very light knocking at the door then it was like someone running down the hall. I thought it was some kids playing in the hall so I told my wife watch this im going to scare them, we kinda started to snicker so as quietly as I could I made my way over to the door I look over at my wife, I thought we kind of blown it because I was almost to the door and then it stopped but then it started to get louder it sounded like they were just outside the door. Then I burst open the door and there was one there. I looked up and down the hall thinking to my self man those kids are fast! I closed the door just as I was half way back to bed it started again so I ran over and flung the door open, I ran out in the hall no one? I ran over to the stairs look up look down nothing my brother was staying in the next room over knocked on his door asked him if he heared or seen anything he said no just your knock, I went back to my room to tell my wife to turn on our grms radio I took the other one in to garys room I told my wife,if you hear it again to whisper when calling me because we're going to get them. I picked up our camera because I really wanted to scare the living hell out of them. So my brother and I went to his room to wait not 20 seconds went by when my wife called on the radio to say that they were back so my brother went out first (he is a cop) to snap their picture. My wife came bursting out, I came out no one there all I remembered was my brother saying holy sh-- its a ghost. - Ghost picture submitted by Cal Stewart I was in Virginia City taking pictures. I was at the Old Washoe Club. It wasn't open but I wanted a pic. So I took it. I took 5 pictures. In all of them, there was a green orb. it showed up in every photo. It was strange. Then our tour guide said that someone was kicking his chair even though he was alone. Submitted by Cody       Category: orbs When I was a teen I used to spend summers there and in the catholic cemetery there was agrave that used to glow a blue green at night the grave was of a ramona sanchez. There have been loads of events with individuals from another zone. Not everyone believes in the tales the folks who live here tell, but everyone who lives in Virginia City is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A       menacing skeleton has from time to time been observed holding a skull at the stroke of midnight by a mailbox in Virginia City. A glow-in-the-dark human shape has been said to have been observed on one or two instances on the apex of Mount Abbie after midnight viewing the view.
