West Wendover, Nevada Ghost Tales Where to start... The Old Bombsite training building at Wendover Airbase (now used as a firehouse) has some pretty interesting things happen there. Recently a 2 year old boy was overheard talking to someone. When his father came out into the bay where the firetrucks are parked to see who his son was talking to there was no one there. He asked his son who he was talking to and his son said ''Man on firetruck'' The father asked ''where is he'' the boy said ''gone now''. Another firetruck episode included someone changing a tail light in the firetruck when he heard someone behind him ask ''what are you doing? The fireman said ''fixing the tailight'' then he turned an no one was there... At a recebt Civil Air Patrol encampment held at the old airbase several of the cadets performing fire walk duty reported seeing an old World War II Army Air Core pilot walking around dragging a parachute. When they looked again he had disapeared. This place is really haunted... . Submitted by anonymous       Category:       firehouse Last week, on Aria Drive, on the Utah side of Wendover, I was driving home at about 3am, after my shift at a local casino. I saw the illuminescent figure of a woman, looking to be dragging a child, or a doll behind her. At first, it appeared to be a patch of lit up fog, but as I got closer, the clear picture of a woman came to   be. She quickly vanished into the parking lot of our local Catholic Church. All the hair stood up on my arms and head, and I am sure this was some type of encounter with a true spirit/ghost. I am curious if there have been other sightings in this area. I have never had any kind of encounter, with anything supernatural before. I am a non drinker, without any types of medication. This really happened... I'm perplexed. E.R.
