Animas, New Mexico Ghost Tales


The daytime hours in Animas, New Mexico are the same as daytime hours anywhere else, but there are outlandish things taking place in this city during the dark hours. Scores of ghost sightings have been exposed by the local residents. Not everybody trusts in the tales the local residents tell, but the tormented souls of Animas are all too real.

The ghost of an aged prospector with a big beard and a wooden left leg can frequently be witnessed scrutinizing Cowboy Pass in detail at night.

    ghost of an old woman clutching a rifle can be made out time and again by Animas River smoking a cigar. One thing is for guaranteed, this is an antagonistic phantom that should be left alone.

The
  phantom of an old Indian chief has now and then been spotted reading a newsletter up on the peak of 1117 Mountain. Folks here declare that this ghost gets pleasure from scaring folks who dare to disrupt the peace in Animas.

A dark rat that transformed into a lady is every now and then spotted in Lighting Dock Area KGRA on a dark night trying to locate someone. One of the residents determinedly declares that this ghost gets pleasure from frightening foolish people who come trying to find ghosts in Animas.

The ghost of a homeless gentleman has purportedly been distinguished on many instances
talking into the thin air as if somebody in addition was present. Anyhow, it sure is a bloodcurdling spirit that you don't want to come across after midnight.
