Aragon, New Mexico Ghost Tales


During the daylight hours the folks who live here in Aragon, New Mexico go about their lives exactly like anywhere else, but tormented ghosts of days gone by in this municipality don't seem to have it in mind to go away. Things take place around here that cannot be given an explanation. Doubters don't trust in the local ghost accounts, but everybody who inhabits in Aragon is not alive.

The ghost of a dreadfully mangled huntsman hauling a dead mountain lion can frequently be witnessed struggling to articulate something in Bear Canyon on a dark night.

A lady with no head may be made out very frequently struggling to grip something mid stream in Whiskey Creek.

A man devoid of a head has now and then been spotted contemplating by Fitzgerald Cienega.

The phantom of an old gold digger with a large beard and a hook instead of his right hand is sometimes spotted terrifying folks beside a giant tree in Quemado Ranger District.

    ghost of a flight attendant may sometimes be witnessed up on the peak of Apache Mountain crying out people's names. Many people who live here allege this ghost likes terrifying foolhardy folks who are brave enough to upset the serenity in Aragon.
