Aztec, New Mexico Ghost Tales

We lived in a house on Parkland Dr and lots of weird things happened there. We always felt like someone was there with us, watching us. We would also see things out of the corner of our eyes. One day, my dad came home during the day and saw someone looking out my bedroom window. He was mad thinking that I had skipped school, but then he found out that no one was home. Another time, we were all woke up in the middle of the night by a big crash. We had a clear glass shelf that held some porceline dolls and the shelf had fallen to the floor. The weird thing was that the dolls were standing up on top of the shattered glass as though someone had placed them there. They weren't hurt at all. We liked living in the house in spite of the weird things, though.

At first glance Aztec, New Mexico appears like your customary town, but the ghost tales reported by the people who live here are enough to make anyone think twice about stopping over in this place. Some of the passed away refuse to rest in this municipality. Skeptics

don't have faith in the local phantom accounts, but Aztec is packed with struggling souls just waiting to frighten you.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A woman on fire, carrying a kerosene bottle is often made out riding on a mare by a highway in the neighborhood of Aztec.

The
ghost of a young-looking air force pilot has been said to have been perceived on one or two occasions in Aztec Ruins National Monument by the ranger station trying to articulate something.

A lady with a blue-green face can often be seen wandering through a trailer close to Aztec. Regardless of what people express, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that should be stayed away from.

The ghost of a mail carrier can be made out very often marching through an Aztec vicinity burial ground.

A female person has occasionally been made out laundering a bloody rag in Aztec Peach Spring late at night. One of the people who live here confidently asserts that this phantom is almost certainly the undeceased phantom of a local resident who used to have a home here in Aztec.

The ghost of a woman with numbers carved into her forehead is every now and then distinguished in Aztec Historical Marker at the stroke of midnight hiding a cadaver by a sizeable rock. Some of the people here assert this phantom is the undead soul of a former Aztec
local.
