Bard, New Mexico Ghost Tales


In the daytime Bard, New Mexico is identical to any other American settlement, but struggling ghosts of the past in this settlement don't appear to aim to die. Night hour is undeceased time here. Not everyone trusts in the tales the local residents tell, but seeing is believing and if you spend the night here in Bard, you could witness a spirit.

The ghost of an old Indian chief can be witnessed frequently covering a cadaver by a sizeable boulder in Llano Estacado Historical Marker late at night.

  Llano Spring after midnight. One thing is for certain, it unquestionably is a frightening spirit that you don't want to encounter in the early morning hours before sunrise.

The ghost of a young-looking woman outfitted as a maid is rumored to have been distinguished on many occasions looking for a map by a parked vehicle in a Bard parking lot on a dark night.

The phantom of a down-and-out man may occasionally be perceived trashing a bag at Ute Lake State Park.

The spirit of a young-looking cowboy was perceived in a Bard area clothing store, staggering the aisles. The spirit was unconcerned that there was someone else nearby.
