The ghost       of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead can repeatedly be observed cleaning a blood-covered pair of pants in Myers Animas Spring on a dark night. The spirit of an aged man with a large gray mustache may be noticed time and again floating down Greyback Arroyo in the early morning hours. Several of the folks who live in this town   declare this ghost loves frightening people who come looking for ghosts in Caballo. One thing is for sure, this spirit undoubtedly is frightening; one that you don't want to meet in the early morning hours before sunrise. A female with a spear sticking out of her head is every so often perceived browsing through a cabinet in the bathroom of a Caballo residence before sunrise. If you listen to the locals, this spirit may well be a celebrated yesteryear native of Caballo.
