Cerro, New Mexico Ghost Tales


Most of the folks who live here in Cerro, New Mexico are happily unaware of the horrifying riddles this city retains; when the dark shadows of the nighttime roll in the living dead march in. The undeparted are here in this town as the locals will tell you. People who have never spent the night in this town will surely tell you it's a pack of lies, but everybody who lives in Cerro is not alive.

A female with a moderately transparent body has allegedly been noticed on a handful of instances chucking stones at Cabresto

The phantom of a gentleman dressed in a sheriff uniform can often be witnessed in Latir Peak Wilderness at midnight hauling a cadaver across the dirt. Several of the people
  here assert this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while passing through Cerro some time ago.

The spirit of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead may be distinguished very frequently guzzling blood from a container by Chambers Spring around midnight. It's been claimed that this exact ghost is that of a local person who lived here in Cerro many years ago.

The phantom of a guy having on a soldier's uniform has once in a while been perceived munching on a melon up on the peak of Baldy Mountain.

A female with a machete sticking out of her head is now and then seen staying in an empty structure in Cerro.
